The smartphone could bring triple camera setup to the affordable segment.
Earlier this year, Asus made a grand comeback in the affordable smartphone segment with the Zenfone Max Pro M1. Unlike previous smartphones, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is sold online only via Flipkart, and comes with interesting specifications at a competitive pricing. Now, the Taiwanese company is reportedly working on the successor, the Zenfone Max Pro M2.
The piece of information comes from well-known tipster Roland Quandt who shared some interesting details about the smartphone. To being with, it will have a model number ZB634KL. He further revealed, that the smartphone will come with a triple camera setup at the back. Sadly, there are no more details about the camera resolution or lens type.
There is also no word on the launch date or expected pricing yet. But considering the fact that the Zenfone Max Pro M1 was a budget smartphone, we can expect the successor to be priced under Rs 20,000. This will also mean that the Max Pro M2 could be the first smartphone to bring triple cameras to the affordable segment.
