The smartphone from the former sub-brand of Oppo is giving other mid-range phones a run for their money.
Realme, formerly a sub-brand from Oppo focused on the online market, has come a long way and made a huge impression in a matter of months. The Realme 2 Pro, which was launched in September this year, is among the most popular devices from the company, thanks to its superior specifications for the price. The phone is going on sale today at 12 noon, and will be available to buy on Flipkart. All variants of the phone will go on sale today.
The Realme 2 Pro is priced from Rs 13,990 onwards for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Apart from that, there are also 6GB / 64GB and 8GB / 128GB variants of the smartphone, priced at Rs 15,990 and Rs 17,990, respectively. This makes the Realme 2 Pro the most affordable device currently available in India with 8GB of RAM.
Realme 2 Pro Specifications and Features
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is also usually seen only on upper mid-tier devices. In terms of other specifications and features, you get a 6.3-inch full-HD+ resolution screen with a waterdrop-style notch, a dual-camera setup at the rear, a 16-megapixel front camera and a 3,500mAh battery. You also get dedicated slots for two SIM cards and a microSD card for storage expansion.
In terms of design and most features, the Realme 2 Pro is largely similar to the Oppo F9. However, with a stronger focus on specifications and the economies of online sales, the phone has a significant advantage over other devices that also rely on offline availability. Now might also be the best time to buy a new Realme phone, as prices are set to be hiked soon.
