Xiaomi is hosting an event on November 6 where it is expected to launch the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The Chinese smartphone maker has already launched the smartphone in certain markets such as Thailand.
Redmi Note 6 Pro will be the successor to the widely-popular Redmi Note 5 Pro in India and is priced at 6,990 Baht or approximately Rs. 15,600. Redmi Note 6 Pro features quad cameras, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform and is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro measures 157.9mmx764mmx8.26mm and weighs 182 grams. The smartphone sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio.
Shielding the display is Corning Gorilla Glass. Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and comes with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, there is a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture + 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera supports Dual Pixel Autofocus and EIS for video recording.
The dual selfie cameras include a 20-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture + 2-megapixel secondary lens with f/2.2 aperture.
Redmi Note 6 Pro is backed by a 4000mAh battery and runs on MIUI operating system. The smartphone is available in four colours- Blue, Black, Rose Gold and Red.
With respect to the connectivity, the smartphone supports Dual SIM functionality, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi Direct and WiFI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
