Xiaomi will be hosting a launch event in China today i.e. November 6 and is expected to launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro with features such as quad cameras (dual cameras on both sides), Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, a
bigger display with notch and more. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is highly likely to be launched by the Chinese smartphone maker tomorrow i.e. November 6 and while the smartphone has already been listed on the company’s global website, it was reportedly launched in Thailand, as well. For the unknown, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the awaited successor of the Redmi Note 6 Pro, which has seen a success in India by selling millions of units.
Coming to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro expected price, the smartphone was launched at 6,990 Baht or approximately Rs. 15,600 in Thailand and it is expected to launch with similar pricing in other markets as well, including India. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be launched with a 6.26-inch FHD+ (2280x1080) display with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio instead of the 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. This will give users more real estate on the screen panel as well as a more immersive experience.
Quad cameras
For the first time, Xiaomi is going with quad cameras in its Redmi series as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD focus, dual-tone LED Flash and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with AI dynamic bokeh mode. At the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and secondary 2-megapixel camera with AI portrait selfie mode.
4000mAh battery
One of the biggest highlights of the Redmi Note 5 Pro was its long-lasting 4000mAh battery and the same cell has been carried forward for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro with better fast charging capabilities.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC
This is also the same processor which powered the Redmi Note 5 Pro and while we would have liked a better processor for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it is still one of the most popular and performance oriented chipsets in the segment.
