Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) quad camera smartphone could be priced at Rs 39,000 in India for the base model, as per a report
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), the industry-first quad camera smartphone might tag a price similar to the OnePlus 6T in India. According to a 91Mobiles report, the new Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone could retail for a price at Rs 39,000 in India.
The publication found the supposed price of Galaxy A9 (2018) in a source code on Samsung India official website. The source code reveals only one price tag which indicates that the base model with 6GB RAM could be priced at Rs 39,000.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was originally launched at the company’s 4X Fun Galaxy A event in Malaysia this October. The key highlight of the smartphone is its four cameras at the back. The quad cameras on the phone which are stacked vertically comprise of a 24MP AF primary sensor with f/1.7, a 10MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom and f/2.4, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide 120-degree lens, f/2.4 and a 5MP sensor for depth effect. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ (2220×1080 pixel resolution) with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It has 128GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS and comes with a 3,800mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) includes Samsung Health, Bixby support and App Pair as well for smooth multitasking. The phone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MIMO, Bluetooth v5.0, ANT+, USB Type-C port, NFC, Samsung Pay under its connectivity suite. Sensors onboard include- Accelerometer, gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, proximity sensor, and RGB light sensor,
