Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be unveiled tomorrow and after being launched in Thailand and getting listed on the global Mi site, nothing is left to the imagination as to what the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will have to offer and why is it considered to be a worthy successor of the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The biggest highlights of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro include a display notch and quad camera setup. Yes, the Redmi Note 6 Pro has become the first smartphone in the budget Redmi series to come with dual cameras on both the sides for better pictures.
Coming to the expected Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price, while there has been no official word in regards to the pricing of the smartphone, it was launched at 6,990 Baht or approximately Rs. 15,600 for the base 3GB+32GB and on the other hand, there is also a 4GB+64GB version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro as well.
It should also be noted that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be launched in China on November 6 after which it will be making its way to India. Once launched in India, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to give a tough competition to other budget smartphones in the country with a long list of segment-leading features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass while it is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 14nm processor clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with Adreno 509 GPU. It includes 3GB / 4GB of x RAM with 32GB / 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD.
For optics, there is a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD focus, dual-tone LED Flash and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with AI dynamic bokeh mode. At the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and secondary 2-megapixel camera with AI portrait selfie mode.
While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 out of the box, it comes with hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) connectivity. Other features of the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, infrared sensor, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and a 4000mAh battery.
